Wii Accessories

The Nintendo Wii offers hundreds of accessories all with unique and special functions. We’ve listed off the five coolest Nintendo Wii accessories for 2009. The top five list is based on action since the Wii is a gaming system that incorporates physical action and interaction.

5. Hip Street Boxing Gloves

[easyshare-right]One of the coolest things I thought they could do with a Wii is to create a boxing game that could mimmick the actions and punches of an actual fighter. The Hip Street Boxing Gloves literally allow you to lace them up with enhanced game-play, quality boxing gloves, and comfort and lightweight design. The gloves are also compatible with the Wii remote and Nunchuk although you’ll have to pay extra for those. Purchase the gloves for $20.

4. Activision Wireless Les Paul

If you are an avid Guitar Hero or Rock Band gamer than a wireless guitar is necessary and not a luxury. Wireless controllers give you more range and area to enjoy strumming the guitar to your favorite tunes. The price is reasonable at $29) and while the Les Paul brand name is really a gimmick, it still might impress your friends.

3. dreamGEAR 3-in-1 Fitness Bundle

Some gamers are offended that the Wii is trying to merge physical fitness with video games. While it may defeat the purpose of playing video games, give Nintendo credit for trying to solve American obesity. The dreamGEAR 3-in-1 Fitness Bundle includes a fitness mat used for Yoga and Pilates, a custom fitted travel bag, and neo fit-soft cover protective workout pad which provides additional comfort and protection. At $39.99 it will save you a hundred or so dollars when compared to signing up for a Yoga class.

2. Wii Zapper with Link’s Crossbow Training

The Wii Zapper and Link’s Crossbow Training is a nice bundle that includes the shooting controller and game for only $24. Gamers can add The Nyko – Perfect Shot for an additional $15. If you like shooting games than the Wii Zapper or Nyko – Perfect Shot just make a lot of sense. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk are sold seperately.

1. Wii Grand Slams Sports Pack

Fans of athletics will absolutely love the Wii Grand Slams Sports Pack and parents will appreciate how it can wear down your child before he or she goes to bed. The pack includes a tennis racket, baseball bat, golf club, and steering wheel. At the base of each handle is a compartment for the Wii Remote. The accessories are also made out of lightweight material to prevent heavily lifting especially for the kids. You can purchase the pack for only $20 making it extremely affordable.
